Teagun loves to be outside helping daddy with all the yardwork. He mows the lawn, shovels the dirt, and pushes his wheel barrow all over the place. It is so nice to finally have some nice weather and be able to be outside more! Oh, and please ignore our yard - we are trying to grow grass in our backyard where we filled in our pool, so it is looking really nice right now!! :)

So, honestly, I have pretty much been in bed between 7pm - 9pm (and that is pushing it) for the past 7 weeks. I think I am finally starting to get some energy back, but I am still so wiped out by evening that all I feel like doing is laying around and doing nothing! So I apologize for the lack of posts lately.
What has been going on with us? Nothing too exciting as usual. Trevor turned the big 3-0 yesterday!!! We had plans to go out to dinner and come back here for cake, but his work is so unpredictable he ended up having to work late and didn't get home til late. Figures, every other day this week he got off on time and then the one day we had plans (and it was his birthday for goodness sakes!), he has to work late. Oh well, we ordered pizza and still had cake when he got home so it worked out.
Teagun is doing great. He is talking so much. It just amazes me. I had to go to Parent/Teacher conferences the other day at his daycare and they said he is doing great! Apparently by this age though when you ask them their name, they are supposed to respond with their first and last name (she had a checklist of things that she "tested" all the kids on). Well, he could say his first name just fine, but we never really talk about our last name. So that is what we have been working on the last week. Now when we ask him his name he says,"Name! Teagun Baker" Sounds like a little drill sergeant - cracks me up.

YAY!!!!!
Yep, we have another one on the way!!! It was a bit of a suprise, but we are thrilled! We are due at the end of November. The ultra sound picture above is when I was 9 weeks along. With Teagun I only had one ultra sound and that was at around 20 weeks. I was expecting it to just be a little blob at 9 weeks, but I was totally amazed at how developed it was already.
A quick post to wish all the Mother's out that a very special Happy Mother's Day! I hope everyone has a fabulous day!!!
My youngest sister, Jaclynn, was in town a couple weeks ago to go to prom with one of her best friends (who is a senior in high school). They stopped by on their way. Teagun was very excited to see Aunt "Jack-en" - he is always asking about her!
Well, it only took me 2 years to get a picture of Zoey and Teagun together. Teagun adores Zoey and Zoey wants nothing to do with Teagun. She still has hard feelings from going from the "only child" that got all the attention to "the dog". :) I think these pictures capture it perfectly - look how Teagun looks at Zoey and Zoey is just begging to let her out!

Seriously - how do boys know how to play with trucks, tractors, GUNS???? We do not have any toy guns in our house, nor does daycare. About a week before we went to visit my sister, he started grabbing his little drill and acting like he was shooting it. Where the heck did that come from?!?!?! Then when we got to my sister's and he found his nephew's toy guns, he was so excited.
Hi! I'm still here!!! I have been horrible about posting lately - sorry! I have really not been in the mood to sit down and go through pictures lately (nor have I taken any new pictures of Teagun in the past week - bad mom!). So what has been going on with us this past week???
Teagun had his two year appointment on Monday. He is doing great, healthy as can be (well besides his tonsils, which we already know about). He weighs about 27 lbs and is 35 inches long. He is talking a ton too (4-5 word sentences). He's always yelling, "Mommy, where are you?" Cracks me up.
We got our patio laid and grass planted in our backyard where we filled in our pool. Once the grass comes in, I will have to post some before and after pictures. Most people can't believe we got rid of our pool when I tell them, but I honestly love it. I don't have to be two inches behind Teagun when we are playing outside and he now has this huge backyard to run around in. And my parents have a pool, so we can always go there whenever we feel like swimming.
I had the opportunity to assist Keri - a fellow photographer/mom that I actually met online - with photographing a local model. It was so much fun and such a great experience. We ran all over downtown for about 2.5 hours taking all kinds of pictures. Heather (the model) was just up for anything. I will post some of those pictures below since I have actually gone through those pictures.
I think Teagun is starting to show some signs of being ready to potty train (finally!!!). Yay! He took off his own diaper on Friday and told us he was wet and then yesterday he actually went on the potty twice!!! Yay!!! Now I have no idea what to do! This potty training stuff is hard. Maybe I should go buy some pull-ups and try those. Anyone have any tips???
And yesterday I got to meet Jeffrey Russel, who is the newborn son of my very good friend, Heather. He is so dang cute (and tiny!). They are hopefully stopping by my house today to pick up some stuff and I am going to try to steal him for a few pictures! Congratulations, John and Heather!!!

Teagun turned 2 yesterday! I seriously cannot believe how fast these past two years have gone by. Where did my baby boy go? He is such a little boy now. Talking up a storm, playing with his truck and tractors...he is getting so independent. He had a fun birthday. We just kept it small this year and celebrated with his grandparents, great grandparents, one of his aunt/uncles, and his great aunt and uncle. He was having fun being the center of attention. I think he got every possible truck/tractor there is - pickup, 4-wheeler, excavator, dump truck, garbage truck, mixer, etc. He was loving it and is having so much fun playing with all his new toys today!

I'm one of those people who can never decide what picture(s) to share on here, so I like to share them all (lucky you!). So I have some catching up to do since I have been a total slacker lately. I still have some more Easter pictures to share and some from our visit with my sister.
This is Teagun's aunt's horse. Friendly guy. I tried to climb inside the fence to get some pictures from the other way and the horse would not get off the top of me...I like horses and all, but honestly, they kind of scare me - they weigh a ton more than I do and could crush me, so I like to keep my distance from them. It looks like I might be rubbing off on Teagun too - he wasn't too sure about the horse either!
We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter yesterday! We were busy visiting with family and Teagun got to have 3 little Easter egg hunts, which he enjoyed this year. I think he was a little confused as to why the heck am I picking up these eggs/candy and putting them in a basket, but he played along! Now if I could just get him to smile at me in a picture I would be sooo happy!
Teagun was in heaven in my sister's backyard - a huge play yard with swing, slide, trampoline, and best of all, sand with big trucks and tractors. We are definitely going to have to look into investing in something similar to this. He is still a little young I think because it made me very nervous when he climbed up in to the play house to go down the slide and I was right on top of him, but I'm sure by next summer this would be a huge hit!
Sorry for the lack of posting. We got back on Wednesday evening and had a great trip. Teagun was such a trooper and did great traveling. We were on the road 12 hours on Sunday and then 9 hours on Wednesday and I can't complain at all. I don't think he even made a peep (crying-wise) on the way down there. He is definitely a good little traveler.
We had a nice visit with my older sister, Jennifer, and her family. Teagun learned some good wrestling moves. They are trying to convert him to be a wrestler, but I think he is going to be a little too tall and skinny for wrestling (and I really want him to play basketball instead!) :) Today (April 6) is my nephew, Gunner's, 3rd birthday. We celebrated a few days early so we could celebrate with him, which was a lot of fun. So in honor of Gunner's 3rd birthday, here are some pictures I took of him while we were there. Happy Birthday, Gunner!
Teagun and I are headed for a short vacation to visit my sister and her family, so there won't be any new posts until Thursday at the earliest! I know Teagun will miss his daddy (he is such a daddy's boy!), but he will love playing with his nephews! It is a 9+ hour car ride to get there though, so wish us (well, me) luck!!! :)
