Just One

I have a TON of pictures to go through from this weekend. My whole family was in town and there was a lot of picture taking. I finally got my new editing program, so will hopefully get my workflow down and get through pictures a little quicker! But here is just one for now of Emery to share from her first Easter.

All Boy

The snow has finally melted (though we woke up to more today!), so I took Teagun to the park - love being outdoors again to take pictures and he absolutley loves being outside. He definitely has some cabin fever and we are anxiously awaiting some nice spring weather here.

Easter Craft

One of the (many) reasons I am enjoying working part time is having the time to do fun little craft projects with Teagun. Our latest craft was painting cut-out Easter eggs.

Emery

aka "Babycakes" and "Miss E"

Loves, loves, loves to eat. Both Trevor and I have decided she is probably going to be the child who gets his super tall genes and outgrow her brother when they are teenagers! :)

Hates: TBD

Adores her big brother. I am always so amazed at how closely she watches Teagun. So cute!

Started to really giggle last week and it is sooo cute. You really have to work hard for it though! Also, started rolling this weekend (as I mentioned below). No more leaving her on the couch and bed unless we are right next to her!

Has the most beautiful blue eyes when the light hits them right!

Teagun

aka "Tigger Liggers" (though that was more when he was a baby), "T-T", "T-T Roni", and "Mr. Roni"

Loves hamburgers with cheese, but NOT cheeseburgers!

Hates green peas...and, well, pretty much everything right now until I make him take at least one bite.

Trying to drop his one nap a day, much to my dismay (I need that break!).

Is on his 4th dry night in a row and hasn't worn a pull-up the last two nights. I think we are well on our way to being FULLY potty-trained! Yay!

Asks us for "cuddle-time" lately - now who doesn't love a little cuddle time, especially with a toddler who doesn't slow down very much!

Quite possibly the cutest, sweetest, funniest little boy!

My Kids and I - Week 1

On a photography message board I frequent, we are challenging ourselves to get in front of the camera since we are normally the ones behind the camera. The challenge is to get in front of the camera at least once a week for 52 weeks with your kids. This was my first week's picture. I LOVE the challenge already! So much fun!

Feet

Emery has started playing with her feet - I just love that!

She also rolled for the first time yesterday. I've been told that 2nd children and girls tend to do things a little quicker and so far, that is true! Before I know it, she will be crawling and walking!!! :(

Retro

Is back in style, isn't it? Does this remind you of an outfit that you could have possibly worn when you were little? My mom brought over a bag of outfits from when me and my sisters were little. I'm guessing they were my younger sister's clothes (so a minimum of 20 years old), but could possibly be my older sisters too (34 years old!). Pretty dang good shape too! I thought this outfit was pretty cute.

Bubbles

I was trying to get a picture of Emery in a cute summer hat my friend, Rachael, sent to her, but she was more interested in blowing bubbles!

3 Months Old

Yes, I realize she turned 3 months old almost 2 weeks ago, but for some reason I am having trouble keeping up with my own pictures and editing lately. These were actually take when she turned 3 months old, so at least I was able to get to that! :)

So what is new with Emery?

- She giggled for the first time a week before she turned 3 months old, but has been extremely stingy on the giggles since (meaning hasn't done it again!).
- Her smile can seriously just melt your heart...and it is a good thing she is so dang cute because...
- She still wakes up pretty much every 3 hours on the dot to eat. However, last night she went almost 7 hours in between feedings!!! Hopefully that keeps up. But then I will need to go to bed at 6:30-7:00 with her so I can get a straight 7 hours of sleep - ahhh, that would be heaven!
- Much to her mother's dismay, she is not the greatest shopper (gasp!). I took Teagun shopping all the time when he was little and he would just hang out and go right along with the flow. He is still this way. Yesterday, we were out and about pretty much all day and I really think she doesn't like it! Hopefully that changes as she gets older!!!
- Trevor and I have decided she is going to be our mischievous child. She can be there sitting as happy as can be on minute and then go to screaming at the top of her lungs the next for no apparent reason. She has to be moving ALL the time. And that doesn't just mean when holding her (you have to be walking or bouncing or she will let you know), but also in the car. If you stop at a stop sign/red light she will let you know she is not happy, but then once the car starts moving again, happy as a clam. Same with her stroller - she could be sound asleep in that thing, but once it stops she is wide awake looking around to see what is going on (which was why shopping is hard with her!).
- She quite possibly could be the cutest little girl I've ever seen - though I am not biased at all or anything! :)

She now likes to suck on everything so she kept slipping down here to suck on the blanket, so it didnt' work out very well, but I couldn't resist the little baby butt!

How sweet are they???

Can I tell you all how much I love these two??? This was a good week - Teagun's jealousy phase seemed to pass (thought I'm sure it will be coming and going for a while), but he was really sweet this week with Emery. He even wanted to hold her a few nights ago, which doesn't happen very often! And she just adores him - I think she could sit forever watching him run, sing, dance, etc.

Anne-Marie took this beautiful picture of her kids a couple weeks ago and I loved it so much that I had to try it with my kids. I just love that I was able to capture Teagun kissing Emery in one of them.
