HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

We hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween!

Here are a few pictures of Teagun painting his pumpkin.

And one of Teagun and Trevor working on carving a pumpkin.

And a few pictures of Teagun in his costume that I shared awhile ago - but he's cute and deserves to be shown off again! :)

Hope you enjoy your day!

One Month To Go

Until the baby is due! Official countdown has begun! And in honor of only having one month to go I thought I would share some of my maternity pictures I had taken. If you remember from a couple posts down a photographer friend of mine and I swapped services - I took her family pictures and she took some maternity pictures of me. Trevor ended up having to work this day so wasn't able to join us, and Teagun wanted nothing to do with the pictures, but we were able to sneak him into a couple at least. I have had a couple strangers on different occasions recently ask me if I was having a Valentine's baby and are completey surprised when I say it is a Thanksgiving baby. I don't feel that small and thank goodness I am not only 5 months along, or I would be on the road to gaining WAY too much weight! :)

Anyway, here are a few of the pictures!

Slideshow

So I have been looking into getting some software to be able to do slideshows and had this trial version on one now for well over a month. However, I could NOT figure out how to hook it to my website to be able to view it. I seriously kept emailing both the software company and my website company trying to figure it out and it turns out I am just a complete idiot when it comes to this stuff - it was working the entire time, I just wasn't adding the .html at the end of the url. ::rolling eyes:: :) Anyway, remember when our family went to Oregon about two months ago? Well, here is a very short little slideshow I made of our trip...just a little late! As I stated, this is just a trial version of the software, so it has a yellow strip across it stating this. But I wanted to test it out on all of you to make sure it works and such. Let me know if you have any problems seeing/hearing it. Thanks!

The S. Family

Fall seems to be the time to get family pictures! I had the pleasure of taking pictures for the S. family this afternoon. We moved the session to the afternoon because we were a little worried about the weather, but it turned out to be perfect weather (but probably a good thing we moved it to the afternoon since it was just a little cold this morning!). Little Miss Alivia was quite the poser and had everybody cracking up! Such a fun family. Here is a sneak peak from the session.

More Family Pictures

I had the pleasure of taking family pictures for Keri, Mark, and Ryland last weekend. Soooo much fun. Isn't Ryland just the cutest little thing? Loved his little outfit! Keri is a fellow photographer friend and in exchange for me taking her family pictures, she took some maternity pictures of me. I am very anxious to see how they turned out (and honestly a little nervous - as I stated before, I'm not a fan of being in front of the camera when I am pregnant!). Anyway, I may post some of my maternity pictures on here when I get them, so check back for those! For now, I wanted to share some of Keri's family.

This one just cracks me up. Looks like Ryland is looking up asking me for help! :)

Pumpkin Patch

We went up to the Pumpkin Patches last weekend and picked out pumpkins - one for each member of the family, including the baby this year! Teagun is pretty cute - everytime we pull into our driveway and he sees the pumpkins sitting on the front porch he says, "Daddy pumpkin, Mommy pumpkin, Teagun pumpkin, and Baby pumpkin!" It was freezing last weekend when we went up there (I think it was maybe 45 degrees), so it was a quick trip. We pretty much just picked out our pumpkins quickly and then let Teagun ride the little train they had there and then jumped back into the warm car. Here are a couple pictures from our adventure though.

And I even got in one of the pictures! I definitely prefer behind the camera, especially when I am pregnant - gotta love that fat pregnant face! :)

A Big Family

And such an awesome family! I had the pleasure of taking family pictures for the C. family. 9 kids! 9 kids - I'm sure there is never a dull moment in this household! :) They are just the nicest and cutest kids too. Thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your family!

Little A didn't want to be a part of this picture, but I think it is pretty cute anyway. You can just tell how they all adore each other!

The beginning of fall

I took Teagun to the park last weekend to get some pictures. The leaves were just starting to turn - hopefully I get back there when it is even more colorful to get some pictures of him. I wasn't sure how long he wasn't going to be feeling well from surgery though and wanted to get some fall pictures in. Anyway, here are a few from our "session".

Surgery Update

Teagun has his tonsil and adenoids taken out yesterday and tubes put back in his ears. The surgery itself was very quick - I'd say the doctor came out to tell us he was done in about 30 minutes. He said the nurses were all completely shocked with how big both his tonsils and adenoids were and they see a lot of tonsils and adenoids, so they were bad! Teagun did not want to wake up from the surgery though - he was one sleeply little guy. And once he was finally staying awake long enough to talk to him, they required him to drink something before they would let us go. Well, he was having none of that. I finally had to take a syringe full of apple juice and force it down him so we could leave. Poor guy! After we were in the recovery room for about an hour trying to get him to drink something the doctor came back by to check on us and told us the nurses had told him when they brought Teagun back to surgery that he was going to be one of those kids that won't drink anything and will become dehydrated...they said they could just tell by his personality. Well, at the doctor's office it sure looked that way, but once we got home he did great! He drank two full sippy cups full of apple juice yesterday and is drinking fine today too. Proved them wrong (thankfully!) :) He is also eating very well. Makes my throat hurt watching him though because you can tell it hurts. But I can already tell a big difference in his snoring, so I'm sure he is going to be getting much better sleep now that the tonsils and adenoids are out and it will be the best thing for him in the long run.
I just threw my little point and shoot camera in my purse on the way out the door because I didn't want to lug my big camera there. Here area couple pictures of Teagun in his little hospital gown waiting to be taken back to surgery.
