Family Pictures from Graduation

I finally was able to get through some of the family pictures I took at Jolynn's graduation. We obviously had too many cameras going because as you can see everybody is looking at different places! Oh well!

My mom, dad, and all the girls

Picture of all the sisters

Jolynn with all her nephews (maybe we will be able to throw a niece into the mix here soon!) :)

And the whole family - included spouses, kids, and my grandparents

Graduation

My sister, Jolynn, graduated from college (in 3 years, nonetheless - Miss. Smartypants!) last weekend. She is going to be getting her Master's over the next year in education - math and spanish. Here are some pictures of her graduation ceremony. I will be putting up some of the family pictures I took here as soon as I get to them. Congratulations, Jo!

Bowling

As I stated in the post below, we took Teagun bowling for the first time on Saturday. He wasn't too into it though. He actually only bowled a couple times. He had a lot of fun running around and playing anyway though (with the sunburn and all!). Here are a couple pictures of Teagun and my nephew Boone.

Parenting 101

REMEMBER TO PUT SUNSCREEN ON YOUR CHILDREN!!! Seriously, can I be anymore stupid? I even brought it with me and then left it in the suitcase and totally spaced it when we left to go to my sister's graduation (outside obviously). It wasn't all that warm and pretty cloudy, so I honestly didn't think much of it. Now my pale little boy looks like a little red lobster! This is about 10 hours after graduation and definitely the height of the redness. Lots of Aloe lotion over the past 24 hours and it looks MUCH better today, thankfully. I still feel so bad though. Lesson learned though and hopefully I won't be making that mistake again this summer!

So these are just snapshots - we took Teagun bowling for the first time this weekend and I wanted to post some of those pictures (coming soon), but figured I'd better explain my little lobster-boy first!

Motorcycles and Race Cars

We went to a little carnival while we were in Montana. Teagun was sooo excited to ride on the motorcycles - he was just beside himself when we put him on there. I honestly did not think he would like it once it started moving though. It was a little big for him and as it went around it went up and down like it was going over hills. He doesn't even really care for the carrousel that we have here in town when Trevor is riding with him. But he surpised me and LOVED it. He rode it several times! There were also a couple different race car rides that he enjoyed, but the motorcycles were definitely the biggest hit!

Sprinkler

We finally had a weekend of summer weather here - it was in the 90's last weekend. We were out of town most of the weekend, but when we got back home on Sunday evening I took Teagun out to run through the sprinkler for the first time. He wasn't too sure about it. I had to show him how to do it (in my capris and all!) and then he thought it was pretty fun. Next time I am at Walmart, I am going to try and find a fun kid sprinkler - I think he would really enjoy that! Now the weather has dropped back down into the 60's this week. What the heck is up with that?!?! I could probably do a whole post on weather in of itself - crazy! Anyway, here are some pictures of Teagun running through the sprinkler! Be careful not to be blinded by my super pale boy!!!

Posing

We got Teagun to pose...well, kind of anyway! :) My sister-in-law was laying in the grass next to him asking him to copy what she was doing and he was actually doing it and thought it was funny, so I was able to get some cute pictures!

On a totally different note - Teagun can say his ABC's!!! I have a sneaky suspicion he has know them for awhile, but just wouldn't do the whole thing for us because when we would sing them to him, he would randomly say a letter in it's correct place as we were going along. But now he does the whole song by himself as well as the "next time won't you sing with me!" part....so cute!!!

Quick Trip

We made a quick weekend trip to Montana this weekend to go to Trevor's cousin, Ryan's, graduation. It was a fun trip. Teagun got to visit his great-grandparents (and I just realized when going through my pictures, I was horrible and didn't even take a picture of him with them!!! Whoops!). It was HOT though! The graduation ceremony was in some horse arena-type thing and it was in the 90's outside and even hotter inside. Thankfully, Ryan's last name starts with an "L" and then we were able to sneak out. Teagun was very good, but starting to get very antsy and was bright red from being so hot. Hopefully I will be good this week and post some more pictures from the weekend - we went to a little carnival and he ran through the sprinkler for the first time when we got home today. The weather is supposed to cool down quite a bit again, so I had to break out the swim trunks for the first time this season before it did! Anyway, here is a picture of me, Trevor, Teagun, Ryan, Jennifer (Trevor's sister), and Logun (Jennifer's husband) after graduation. Congratuations, Ryan!!! (oh, and please ignore the fat pregnant belly! All you mom's out there can attest to this horrible in between stage - I hate it!!! Just look pregnant already!)

And one of our family. Look at that - Teagun is smiling!!!

Hard Worker

Teagun loves to be outside helping daddy with all the yardwork. He mows the lawn, shovels the dirt, and pushes his wheel barrow all over the place. It is so nice to finally have some nice weather and be able to be outside more! Oh, and please ignore our yard - we are trying to grow grass in our backyard where we filled in our pool, so it is looking really nice right now!! :)

I have an excuse...

Right?!?! (see post below if this doesn't make sense!) :)

So, honestly, I have pretty much been in bed between 7pm - 9pm (and that is pushing it) for the past 7 weeks. I think I am finally starting to get some energy back, but I am still so wiped out by evening that all I feel like doing is laying around and doing nothing! So I apologize for the lack of posts lately.

What has been going on with us? Nothing too exciting as usual. Trevor turned the big 3-0 yesterday!!! We had plans to go out to dinner and come back here for cake, but his work is so unpredictable he ended up having to work late and didn't get home til late. Figures, every other day this week he got off on time and then the one day we had plans (and it was his birthday for goodness sakes!), he has to work late. Oh well, we ordered pizza and still had cake when he got home so it worked out.

Teagun is doing great. He is talking so much. It just amazes me. I had to go to Parent/Teacher conferences the other day at his daycare and they said he is doing great! Apparently by this age though when you ask them their name, they are supposed to respond with their first and last name (she had a checklist of things that she "tested" all the kids on). Well, he could say his first name just fine, but we never really talk about our last name. So that is what we have been working on the last week. Now when we ask him his name he says,"Name! Teagun Baker" Sounds like a little drill sergeant - cracks me up.

Well, that's about all for now! Here is a picture from today.

BIG NEWS!!!

What's that?!?!?!

I'm going to be a BIG BROTHER???

YAY!!!!!

Yep, we have another one on the way!!! It was a bit of a suprise, but we are thrilled! We are due at the end of November. The ultra sound picture above is when I was 9 weeks along. With Teagun I only had one ultra sound and that was at around 20 weeks. I was expecting it to just be a little blob at 9 weeks, but I was totally amazed at how developed it was already.

Aunt Jaclynn

My youngest sister, Jaclynn, was in town a couple weeks ago to go to prom with one of her best friends (who is a senior in high school). They stopped by on their way. Teagun was very excited to see Aunt "Jack-en" - he is always asking about her!

A Boy and his Dog

Well, it only took me 2 years to get a picture of Zoey and Teagun together. Teagun adores Zoey and Zoey wants nothing to do with Teagun. She still has hard feelings from going from the "only child" that got all the attention to "the dog". :) I think these pictures capture it perfectly - look how Teagun looks at Zoey and Zoey is just begging to let her out!

Hmmm...How can we get outta here?!?!?
